Jersey Post invited Switch Apps to pitch for the rebuild of their UK to Channel Islands delivery service, Ship2me. The brief included improvements to the content management features, admin work-flows and the implementation of a new design, user experience, a shopping directory and a large data migration of existing customer accounts and order details.

Our Role

Jerset Post contacted Switch Apps with a brief to replace their exising Ship2me website with a new system that provided:

A better user experience.
Full content management of both the pages within the site and the products that could be shipped.
Customer relationship management.
Ability to integrate with internal systems.
Flexible reporting and exporting options
A platform to build on in the future.

After reviewing the brief and working with Jersey Post to fully understand their requirements in detail, Switch proposed SiteBuilder as an option that would meet their needs.

The new website design was created by UK agency, Third Person, who we worked closely with to ensure our conversion of their designs into HTML5 and CSS templates created the expected user experience.

A large part of the project involved bespoke development to integrate SiteBuilder with Jersey Post's internal systems and to provide a custom checkout experience for customers to arrange their deliveries.
